This recipe shows a delicious way of using one of our new superfood mixes. It is ideal for use in smoothies and smoothie bowls (i.e. thick smoothies). Our superfood mixes provide a convenient way of adding antioxidants to your diet.

Spinach Citrus Smoothie (serves 1)

 

Ingredients:

1 orange, peeled

½ banana, sliced

1 cup tightly packed spinach

¼ cup Hydro Coco Coconut Water or plain water

3 ice cubes

1 tbsp HCW Leafy Green Mix (NEW)

Method:

  1. Place spinach and water in a blender and blend well.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Add more water if desired, to reach preferred consistency.

Pour into a glass and enjoy!
